Ward Christmas Part-ay

Last weekend our ward had our Christmas party. This ward seriously goes super all out with the decor for their parties. Its like a pinterest explosion. Not that I have a pinterest account. Anyway, the women in my ward have some mad crafting/decorating skills going on.

Not only was everything decked out, one of the older ladies in the ward made everyone a little ornament filled with candy. Yea, see those little boxes around the presents? She made EVERY.SINGLE. ONE. by hand. Serious skillz there.

They also had a cute little photo area. We took our picture. Shiny face!

They had a talent show. I was going to sing/play Breath of Heaven (which I decided about 3 days before even though I signed up for it like 3 weeks prior). But last minute Bret decided that he wanted to play the piano for me. Unfortunately Bret had some issues with the music so there were a few hiccups. Luckily we were at the end of the program so most people had already left.

They had soups and salads and a dessert potluck. The dessert table was also CA-RAZY. I made a peanut butter torte, even though I'm not eating sugar right now. Yea, that's torture. Everything looked amazing though and it was almost completely gone by the end of the night with only a little scrap left.
